Scattered Thoughts

When thou passest through the waters...they shall not overflow thee (Isa. 43:2).

"God does not open paths for us in advance of our coming. He does not promise help before help is needed. He does not remove obstacles out of our way before we reach them. Yet when we are on the edge of our need, God's hand is stretched out."

From Streams in the Desert, January 6.

God is giving us just enough grace to get through right now...trials from within, trials from outside. I praise Him that His promises are true and that His grace is enough.

So in love with Baby...

My sister-in-law insisted that I get a Miracle Blanket before Roman was born. I have always been a fan of swaddling, ever since I read this book when Jackson was 4 weeks old. The Miracle Blanket swaddles a baby so completely, the baby may sleep up to 8 hours.

8 hours.

At 4 weeks old! The Blanket + Babywise principles (eat, wake, sleep, and set that baby on a schedule!) have helped yhis tired mommy so much! If you are pregnant, do yourself a favor and get this blanket.

It was so good to see you today and Roman is so adorable! Thank yo so much for the encouragment to come sing at your church! It means the world to me that you would even suggest that and invite me...I sure do miss singing! Love you girl! Praying for some sleep-filled nights for you!

That was exactly my equation with baby #2. Miracle Blanket + Babywise = sleeping baby & happy mom!
