Beau and I called this blog Foundations because we love the book of Job. Its biblical truths give us our place before a holy and perfect Creator. Who are we to question the sovereign God? Yet it feels like we are going through a refining process right now. As the small trials add up, it feels like one big trial, and we are weak from the burden. Thankfully, we do not have to carry it alone. Christ promises to take it from us if we trust Him to do so. We will rest in this blessing.
"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed". 1 Peter 4:12-13
Sometimes I forget it is all for His glory.
