Christmas

Beau got Jackson a little bath "shaving kit" and the boy was ecstatic to be able to shave with Daddy this morning.
We spent Christmas Eve evening with Beau's parents and brother and his children. It was a very nice time, quiet and peaceful. The kids got these beautiful desks from Tom and Connie from the MOMA. Beau and I put them together Christmas Eve after we got home while we watched "Christmas Vacation".
Christmas morning! We opened presents and ate our yearly breakfast of cinnamon rolls and bacon and eggs. We read the Christmas Story from Scripture and began to cook and bake for dinner.
Here are those awesome desks. The top is a chalkboard surface and the bottom holds art supplies. There is also a little bag on the bag that holds books and such. A cup on the surface holds pencils and crayons. These will be treasured for years to come.
My favorite all-time Christmas present!

Merry Christmas! Looks like you guys had a great time w/ family! We have similar traditions as you guys! We also enjoyed homemade cinnamon rolls and eggs for breakfast, along w/ the reading of the Christmas story. My sis brought over Christmas Vacation to watch, but we never got around to it :( I love those desks the kids got!

It seems different countries, different cultures, we really can decide things in the same understanding of the difference!
