Preschool-isms: Two-legged Friends

Yesterday afternoon, I was preparing dinner and so I sent the children outside with popsicles. They are getting better about entertaining themselves for longer periods of time. But after five minutes or so, the popsicles had lost their appeal. So Jackson wandered to the screen door and called,

"Mommy! Come play with us!"

"I have to finish dinner!" I called back. "Play with Shane!" (our sweet pound puppy).

"No! I don't want to! I want to play with someone who has two legs!".

Luckily, Daddy came home soon after. He usually walks on two legs.
