The sewing machine got dusted off yesterday after a month-long break. I got to make this sling for my sweet sister-in-law, who is due with her third baby in a few short weeks. She selected the same bird fabric I just wrote about out of all of the wonderful selections in
Strawberry Patches. I love it! It fits her perfectly. We made an afternoon of the outing. Our fabric store visit was followed by a lovely lunch at the Racquet Club, watching Beau play tennis; then finally, a swim with the kids. It was wonderful! We also picked out some cute elephant fabric to make a car seat canopy/cover. I can't wait to get started on a template. I love new projects...
