The Litter Box

I won't bore you with all the details of potty-training a toddler, but sometimes funny things happen. Rebecca came to me as we were getting ready for baths and said, "I peed!" She has yet to go voluntarily on the potty, so I warily asked, "Where"?

"Show me," she said, which means, "I'll show you".

So she took me by the hand, out the bathroom, down the hall, through the kitchen, to the laundry room, where she bent down by the litter box.

"Right dere!", she pointed proudly.

The floor next to the litter box, and amazingly, in the litter box (the box has a lid), was wet. She peed in the litter box, just like her beloved Toulouse. It might be easier to teach her to use a litter box. What do you think?
