Infant Carseat Cover Tutorial

Not!

It started out innocently enough.

One gung-ho pseudo-seamstress, one clear vision, and plenty of soft minkee scrap fabric. The seamstress had a plan, some helpful thoughts from a blogging friend, and an entire naptime to get her project done. She even had grandiose ideas about possibly putting together her own tutorial.

But then things went horribly wrong.

I won't take the time to bore you with the details. I will say that I found myself talking to the carseat cover as if it were human, calling it names and asking it rude rhetorical questions.

The project is finished and that is that. At this time, there will be no stinking tutorial. Perhaps I will try again some day, but there are so many other projects that interest me and that I love to do...so I doubt it.

What's that, carseat cover? No, your mom.

Until next time.

Jennie,
I found your blog through Brandy's (hi!) and just had to tell you that I am so impressed with your projects. I haven't had much of a chance to sew lately, but I love seeing the things you make for your children (especially the dresses, since that is what I like to make for my own little girl).

Congratulations on the upcoming addition to your family.
