Mother asks the children to put their plates in the sink.
Child #1- Obediently picks up plate, throws napkin in the trash, and sets plate and fork in the sink.
Child #2- Leaps off chair, bangs foot on underside of counter, drops plate upside-down on floor, ketchup and chicken scattering a foot in each direction, attempts to "hippity-hop" over mess and puts left foot smack into the middle of biggest ketchup mark.
Child #3- (hiccup)

Scene 2: Mom and Dad either laugh a lot, or send all of the above to bed early. :-)
I say, laugh..much easier on everyone : )
