Our number 2 got her first real injury yesterday at the park. Courtney and I were helping the older boys drink from the water fountain when I heard Rebecca start crying. She had missed a step and tripped while trying to get up on the play structure. I picked her up and held her for the 30 seconds she wailed. When we got back to the house, both Court and I noticed that her cheekbone was pink! She got her first black eye. Praise God that it wasn't from Jackson smacking her.
The injury is not very evident this morning, so it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. She is beautiful even with a (semi-) black eye.
